Some brands are born from a business opportunity. And some brands are born from a life experience. My Baby Box clearly belongs to the second group.
It all started with the arrival of Alice. It was at that long-awaited and transformative moment that Rita realised how much details matter. The way a gift is chosen, presented and delivered can say a lot about the giver and the affection behind each gesture.
It was from this personal experience, and a background in Fashion Design and Visual Merchandising, that My Baby Box was born in 2021.
From "Oh! My Baby Box" to My Baby Box
The brand started with a different name, "Oh! My Baby Box", but in 2025 it was relaunched with a more mature identity, aligned with what it had become: a reference in Portugal in the universe of gifts for newborns.
More than a name change, it was an affirmation of purpose. My Baby Box exists to make every gift a truly special moment, from the selection of the items to the way they reach the recipient.
A box designed with attention to detail
Each Baby Box is created with an attention to detail that goes far beyond what meets the eye. The items are selected with quality, softness and aesthetics in mind, with a Nordic and minimalist style that has become the brand's signature.
All clothing is 100% cotton, the muslins and swaddles are made of cotton or bamboo, and each product is developed by Rita herself in Portugal, with original patterns created by her. Each item is chosen with the same care she would take when choosing something for her own children.
The box can be personalised with the baby's name, and the greetings card can include a message chosen by the customer, written in calligraphy. Because a gift with a name and words has a completely different meaning.
Made in Portugal, designed for the world
My Baby Box was born in Portugal and continues to grow here, with customers in Portugal and Spain and increasing demand from other European countries.
Today, My Baby Box works with families and also with leading companies, who choose Baby Boxes to offer to their employees during one of the most special moments of their lives.
